Good morning,

With pupil safety and wellbeing in mind, and the red weather warning (risk to life) in place for the next few days we have made the decision to close St. Benedict's on Wednesday and Thursday. We are aware that most local schools have made the same decision and as well as the health implications of the hot weather, we also have staffing issues due to secondary schools announcing closures.

It has been a difficult decision to make as we are always keen to remain open where possible, but pupil safety and wellbeing comes first. We will re-open on Friday at the usual time.
