Curriculum

Our intention at St. Benedict's is to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that engages all learners and celebrates success in different subjects and activities.  We aim to establish in our pupils an appreciation of "Life in all its Fullness." (John 10:10) through the delivery of our wider curriculum, including opportunities to access outdoor learning, extra-curricular activities, visits from inspirational people and trips to inspirational places.

In order to make the curriculum accessible for all learners, including those children with disabilities and/or SEN, and to comply with our duties set out in the Equality Act, 2010, we differentiate our lessons appropriately to meet children's needs.  Please see our SEN information report for more details (this is located in the SEND section of the 'Key Information' drop down tab on the main page of this website).

For more information about the curriculum your child is undertaking, please contact their class teacher in the first instance.
